Making the decision to move to an assisted living facility can be a big change, and it's common to have worries about leaving one's home and daily routine. At Neve Amit, we understand that each resident had their own unique lifestyle before moving in, so we respect and appreciate that. With over 60 years of experience, we've developed an approach that combines both personal and communal living. We strive to empower our tenants to be themselves and take full advantage of all the services we offer. Our four residences are well-maintained and include spacious, well-equipped apartments, a vibrant community life, high-quality medical coverage, and personal security.
In my previous home, I had a large garden which I designed and nurtured with dedication. When I moved to Lev Rehovot, I couldn't imagine my life without a green corner of my own. The staff provided me with the flowers and plants I requested, along with the necessary tools from the nursery, and I've been blooming ever since.

Avner volunteered to give me a tour and show me the place. He stood out from all the tenants in terms of appearance and I had a great time talking to him and our relationship developed more and more. Today we enjoy being together, traveling, going to the mall, listening to lectures and meeting friends. One of the tenants told me 'he could be your son'. I told her 'I know. So what? If you believe in love, it comes in all kinds of forms, ages and places'.

I strongly believe in the saying "healthy body, healthy mind." Engaging in physical training every day is a way of life for me. When I moved to Neve Amit Rehovot, it was crucial for me to continue my training routine. I was happy to find an excellent fitness instructor who creates a customized training plan for me and ensures that I follow it. She is always supportive and never gives up on me.
Asher Herenstein, Neve Amit Rehovot
I have always been a people person. Surrounded by friends, colleagues and acquaintances. In recent years, the number of members has dwindled and the meetings have decreased. In Neve Amit Ramat Eshkol I came back to myself and I am smiling again, spending time in the company of pleasant people and sharing great experiences and moments with them.
Avraham Swerdlow, Ramat Eshkol
I have dedicated my life to teaching. I have covered 4,000 years of Jewish history, from the days of Abraham to the present day. My aim was to compile this information so that I could pass it on to others. Today, I volunteer to lecture at senior clubs and high schools in Rehovot. The staff at Lev Rehovot helps me to coordinate these lectures and ensures that the shuttle is at my disposal when needed.
Avraham Magen, Lev Rehovot
I have a deep appreciation for aesthetics and enjoy expressing my vividness and creativity through carefully crafted items that adorn every corner of my home in Tel Aviv. When I decided to move to Nofey Motza, I knew I wanted to continue pursuing my passion for creativity and self-expression. Thankfully, they understood and embraced my passion, providing me with all the necessary opportunities to continue creating. I am delighted to spend time with friends in the art circles, expanding my collection, and joyfully hosting and presenting it to everyone.
Flora Atrakchi, Nofey Moza
Art has always flowed through my veins for as long as I can remember. Throughout my life, I have cultivated and nurtured this passion by exploring ceramics and various other forms of artistic expression. In my perspective, hobbies should persist beyond retirement age, and therefore, when I arrived at Neve Amit Rehovot, I was delighted to have the opportunity to continue creating and experimenting in a variety of diverse art workshops, exploring various materials and techniques. I take pleasure in my creations, relish the company of friends, and engage in collaborative projects.

The decision for my Mother to move to sheltered housing was a gradual process. However, as soon as she made the decision to move and live in Ramat Eshkol, it transformed our lives. She has made friends here and enjoys a wonderful companionship, giving her a notably high-quality life. Knowing that she is in good hands and being taken care of, grants me the freedom to live my life fully. I can be both a devoted daughter and a present mother to my children, young grandchildren, partner, and friends, secure in the knowledge that my mother is well taken care of.
